Do you ever have those days where you have quite a bit of close calls? Close calls that would likely be more than just a minor inconvenience, they would really ruin your day (or night)? Today was one of those days for me. But thankfully, lady luck was on my side.
The worst of the day was that I was driving home from quite a distance (and this was just a few minutes ago, almost midnight!) when one of the wheels started doing that tell-tale bumpity-bump thing where you know that you’re destined for a flat tire. I still do not know how to change flat tires. Add to that an almost 4 year old that is well overdue for bed, and you’ve got a pretty good recipe for disaster and a horrible night (and possibly next few days…).
So I drove along with crossed fingers and toes, prayers and chants to please just get home safely, and I’m happy to say that we didn’t have to deal with a flat. It’s probably no big deal, but to me it’s quite the miracle. I’ve had worse days where anything and everything that could go wrong actually did go wrong, and nobody likes those days!
